Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk

The Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk will oversee all aspects of the facilities shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This position will work with Material Assistant to ensure proper count, item identification, organization, tagging, order fulfillment, order receiving, shipping, safety, and facility cleanliness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily receiving and shipping activities.
• Checks daily on materials delivered and look for damages to product, and match delivered items to delivery documentation.
• Maintain required inventory product records, manual pulls, transfers, packing slips, freight vendor BOL’s, etc.
• Ensure all items are properly pulled, packed, routed, and loaded in a safe and efficient manner, and match shipping documentation.
• Ensure all merchandise is received, counted, stored in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Present a clean, organized, and efficient facility at all times.
• Work with Material Assistant to resolve any shipping or receiving issues that arise.
• Ensure accurate count of received and shipped items,
• Help with inventory cycle counts and annual inventory count.
• Enter and process walk-in orders using company software.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Ensure emergency orders are addressed in a timely manner.
• Maintain delivery progress, from receiving request for delivery to truck departing property.
• Manage shipment preparation status.
• Picking allocation for each forklift driver based on call list.
• Shift hours are from 7 am to 5:30 pm, M-F with some Sat when required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Warehouse Experience
• Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficient
• Must be self-motivated
• Reliable, Organized, and Detail Oriented
• Must be able to Multi-Task
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with an obsession with accuracy
• Superior data management and technical skills with the ability to successfully deal with numerical data.
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding work habits and professional ethics to meet deadlines and handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Preferred:

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors, bending, and kneeling.
