Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Summary:
Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
Essential Job Functions:
Review order to ship and sales orders. Verify and confirm certificates of compliance verification of tags and labels. Review of packaging instructions and select, appropriate size and type of shipping container. Select appropriate inside packing materials and assume product placement within container, to ensure maximum protection. Marking of containers to ensure proper shipment occur and matching and placements of applicable documents to the containers be shipped. Staging of containers pending courier pick up, to ensure proper courier picks up correct product. Keeps the work area clean and organized during work day. Assist in receiving activities as directed by supervisor or department manager, including part counts, part numbers, etc. Receive repair harnesses into computer and forward harnesses to Repair Station Department. Ensure proper personal protective equipment is worn and proper equipment is used. Ensure procedures are followed when moving and or lifting heavy objects and product. Deliver all parts to proper departments with documentation, file closed sales orders, and purchase orders.

Requirements:Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum of six (6) months shipping and receiving experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of ITAR regulations preferred but not required
- International shipping experience preferred but not required
- Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift or pull heavy objects up to 30 lbs
- Must be computer literate
