Job description
- Receive all parts that are shipped in, making sure they are received in good condition and packing slips match the part and quantity received.
- Pack and ship orders to internal and external customers in the most efficient manner
- Maintain shipping logs.
- Stock all parts in the parts warehouse after they have been checked in.
- Operate forklift truck when necessary.
- Cross-check inventory accuracy with system entries
- Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs.
- Contact carrier and schedule shipping for each package.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.
2. Other duties as assigned.
What you'll need:
1. BOL experience
2. 3-5 years 3PL experience with receiving inbound loads into a WMS system.
3. Shipping LTL and full truck load shipments
4. Verifying outbound shipments to ensure picking is accurate.
5. WMS 3-5 years.
6. Picking/packing.
