Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Reports to: Operations Manager

Based in: Cedar Hill, TX

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

• Ability and willingness to maintain a safe work standard
• Organize warehouse area in an efficient and clean environment
• Communicate effectively, professionally and often with customers, team members, supervisors, partners and suppliers
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high-volume of activity
• Provide ideas and solutions to improve efficiencies, productivity and safety
• Present positive attitude, strong work ethic and professionalism at all times

Requirements:

• Possess a keen ability to work thru distractions
• Possess high level skills with Excel and other computer applications

• Minimum 2 years’ Shipping and Receiving experience in fast-paced manufacturing plant.
• Able to quickly identify and resolve issues.
• The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Culture of continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and days when required.

Requirements of position:

• Position requires ability to work with many different and sometimes difficult personalities
• Position requires ability to use, learn and understand apps that schedule the trucks and forklift operators
• Ability to work in “inside and outside” warehouse conditions frequently in a non-climate-controlled facility

Required Education:

• High School diploma or GED

Job Type: Full-time- 1st shift – 8am – 5:30pm Monday thru Friday and 4-5 Saturdays per year.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
