- Reports to: Shipping & Receiving Supervisor
- Shift: 7am – 3:30pm
- Starting Pay: $26.50
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate with a focus on safety and quality, while maintaining a sanitary work environment. Comply with all safety and quality policies and procedures including lockout tag out, GMP, HACCP and Allergen.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Report any defective materials, missing or damaged tools to the supervisor.
- Incoming process - Inspect truck and container, verify carrier information appointment, seals are in place, sealed and match shipping delivery paperwork. Overall appearance and smell of truck needs to be clean, sanitary with no damage that would allow for rodents or foreign material to get into product. Issues with a truck must be communicated to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Visually inspect product, pull sample and deliver to laboratory for analysis. Once approved unload and store received product in designated area, stacking properly within height limits. Maintain inventory accuracy through WMS system and ensure all shipping documents have been signed.
- Outgoing process – Inspect truck to ensure clean, infestation and odor free with no holes. Fulfill customer orders, pulling proper lot number, quantity and product. Load and secure production to avoid spillage, tipping or damage to packaging. Print bill of lading, document seal numbers, sign and issue original to driver and filing copy in shipping. Ensure WMS system is updated.
- Stage raw materials and packaging in production. Move finished goods in production to proper storage areas. Ensure all movements recorded properly in WMS. Perform cycle counting as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
- Able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for prolonged periods of time
- Able to set up, adjust and operate machinery
- Regularly required to bend, stoop, and reach
- Able to observe and detect issues
- Occasionally ascend/descend stairs
- Occasionally move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
- Constantly operate within a manufacturing product environment - daily exposure to noise, dust and variation in temperature (hot/cold)

- Comply with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) Lockout/Tagout requirements for hazardous energy sources
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards
- Adhere to FDA HACCP guidelines
- Adhere to Allergen Management best practices for food manufacturers
- Comply with workplace uniform requirements and safety gear
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures and code of conduct
