Shipping And Receiving Clerk

Summary:
We are seeking five temporary (April - September) Shipping and Receiving Clerks to help us get through our busy summer season.
Qualified candidates will be able to establish a productive pace keeping up with the daily shipping volume, maintain stock on all product and materials produced in-house, and keep the warehouse organized and clean.
This position has the potential to turn into a full-time role for the right candidate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize workload according to priority
• Follow instructions to build BOMs correctly
• Replenish pull shelves with product
• Report any inventory needs to the appropriate teams
• Clean up the work area daily
• Participate in inventory counts
• Assist with fulfilling customer orders
• Assist with fulfilling workshop/event shipments
• Restock returned event materials
• May assist in other areas and perform additional duties as needed

Interaction:
Job duties are performed on own responsibility after assignment, occasionally developing own methods.
This position interacts with employees within their department, other departments, the general public, and other companies.

Requirements:*

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six months to 1 year of experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Good oral communication skills
• Math, reading, and writing skills
• Moderate computer skills
• Physically able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs, climb ladders/pallet jacks
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work well with other Kagan team members

Tools Used:
Computer, printer, tape gun, calculator, box cutter, utility knife, laminator, shrink wrapper, ladders, pallet jack, carts, various office supplies, and cleaning supplies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
