Position Summary:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for shipping and receiving of cranes and materials. The main responsibilities are-
The shipping will entail arranging for the correct type, size, and number of trucks for the outgoing crane loads. Attentiveness to fabrication, paint and electrical schedule for projects being completed and ready to ship.
The receiving will entail in the steel delivery and stage it in preparation for fabrication to start their process. Another key responsibility is receiving and storing components that are then used to finish crane build outs.
A high level of accuracy and detail is necessary. This position involves lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs weekly counts of inventory crane build material
- Create purchase orders for material needed
- Send requisitions out for quote
- Manage stock material out of inventory sheets as required
- Order and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory
- Accuracy of all paperwork produced
- Assist supervision/management as needed
- Filling out, out of inventory sheets
- Answer door phone calls, and ship office windows
- Follow company policies, guidelines, and work instructions
- Warehouse work as needed (Cleanliness & Organization)
- Check in steel orders
- Verifies quantity and quality of orders
- Verifies items received with purchase order and receivers
- Process UPS and FedEx Shipments
- Deliver and retrieves supplies to and from work storage areas; tags and issues supplies
- Stock shelves and rotates inventory
- Complete the required number of Safety Observations (RCI) each month
- Foster a positive work environment and promote a high level of company morale
Qualifications:
- Computer proficiency
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must pass drug test
- Must pass background check
- 2-3 years Shipping or Warehouse experience
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean Driving Record
- Forklift certified or able to complete forklift certification course
- D.O.T. Certification
- Overhead Crane Operator training/certificate required
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This is a full-time onsite position; 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel.
