Lead - Shipping (Advancement Opportunity)

Lead - Shipping position presents room for advancement. Candidates who possess experience working in Shipping - Fullfillment/Pick/Pack with desire towards career advancement and demonstrated enthusiasm are encouraged to apply.

Job Requirements:

• Serves as main contact in the Pick/Pack Department for interacting with management and providing guidance to 1-5 employees disseminating work and assigning tasks

• 2+ years work experience performing fullfillment/pick/pack duties

• Demonstrated performance of additional duties or Lead functions is helpful.

• Enforce rules and procedures related to duties of picking/packing/shipping small parcel

• Identifying and verifying correct parts prior to packaging

• Reads shipping-related documents in English.

• Picks/packs and processes customers’ orders for shipment.

• Retrieves products by using alpha-numeric SKU numbers. Accuracy is critical.

• Maintains packages organized and prioritizes orders for processing.

• Participates in doing inventory counts.

• Ensures all documentation are available for shipment and verifies the accuracy based on products that are being staged for shipment.

• Uses computer to retrieve information and to enter shipping data in the system.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

Job is performed in warehouse environment. While performing task, employee will be required to engage in the following physical activities:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Stands/walks, lift/pull/push for the majority of the shift schedule

• Climb ladder to retrieve prodcuts, squat and kneel at various intervals when preparing products.

• Finger dexterity to operate the computer keyboard, handle boxes, operate manual pallet jack.

• Good vision to read documents, computer and related written documents pertaining to products and shipments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
