Shipping Clerk/Material Handler

Balance Staffing is seeking to hire a Shipping Clerk/Material Handler to support our client in Costa Mesa. Our client is a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider serving the fastest-growing segments of the global Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) market.

Job Purpose:

• Performs all material handling functions within the warehouse. Receiving, shipping, materials stores and inventory control.

Job Duties:

• Cross functional training and development in inventory control, raw components processing and finished goods receiving and shipping.

• Performs the physical tasks involved in stock keeping and receiving all materials within the warehouse.

• Receives, allocates and issues raw material to manufacturing work orders within the ERP system.

• Receives , allocates and issues finished goods to sales orders within the ERP system.

• Maintains inventory accuracy within the warehouse and performs cycle count duties in conjunction with the Inventory Control staff.

• Maintains security of all warehouse materials.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum to 2-4 years related experience

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.

• Must have good communication skills

• Familiarity with Oracle ERP, a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Information:

• This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.

• Must successfully complete all applicable pre-employment screenings. I.e. background check, drug screening, physical and/or employment verification as required, etc

Job Type: Full-time, Contract to hire

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

• 1st shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm OT as needed + Saturdays
