What You'll Do
As a Shipping Clerk , you'll be part of our team located in Brewster, NY. You'll get to:
- Identify and pull parts from inventory, including consignment locations.
- Operates hand held scan guns while picking orders for shipping
- Prepare items for shipment and complete training for loading a truck.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and data processing, performing error-free transactions.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and pro-actively identify opportunities to improve processes in your area.
- Prepare for cycle counting and understands transfers/restocking
- Adhere to all safety programs and escalate safety issues
- Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Who You Are

- Forklift Operation experience especially with stand up Raymond trucks
- Some experience in shipping or a warehouse environment preferred
- Experience with systems (WMS) and export orders preferred
- Understand Haz Mat Labeling preferred
- Ability to learn quickly and adjust to a rapidly changing environment
- Results and deadline oriented
- Respect for people and ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
