Shipping Clerk

Unicorr Packaging Group, a family-owned leading manufacturer of corrugated and protective packaging, seeks self-motivated and highly energetic Shipping Clerk/Dispatcher in our Walden, NY facility.

Responsibilities:

• Route trailer deliveries
• Load inbound/outbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations
• Efficiently move product from production and storage areas trailers
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
• Follow all written and verbal instructions
• Attend all safety and production trainings
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
• Able to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years’ experience working in industrial production is strongly preferred
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work on different shifts preferred
• Must be available for weekends/occasional overtime
• Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines at all times
• Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching
• Able to operate large industrial machinery
• Able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Able to work 8 hour shifts standing
• Reliable and punctual
