Responsibilities:
- Keeps dock area organized and clean.
- Scans, verifies, and saves order information in LinenMaster.
- Labels carts with missing barcodes, with new ones using Information Manager.
- Notify janitor / maintenance / manager when empty truck is backed in to be cleaned and fogged.
- Visually inspects carts for defects, trash, dirt, bad wheels, etc.
- Prints manifests / delivery receipts for drivers when order is complete.
- Places manifests / delivery receipts on appropriate driver clipboards.
- Rejects carts that are messy, inaccurate, dirty, wheels bad.
- Moves completed carts to the designated area on dock or onto appropriate vehicle.
- Secure loads on trucks
- Maintain clean and disinfected area.
- Observe the established safety guidelines and wear the safety and precaution equipment issued to your person.
Skills:
- Experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role preferred
- Knowledge of picking, packing, and shipping procedures
- Ability to operate forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking
