Duties:
· Receive and inspect incoming packages and shipments
· Verify accuracy of received items against purchase orders or invoices
· Unload and load trucks using pallet jacks, reach trucks, or order pickers
· Utilize AS400 or other inventory management systems to update and track inventory
· Use RF scanners to scan barcodes and ensure accurate inventory counts
· Pick orders according to MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system or customer specifications
· Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and packaging materials
· Assist with inventory control by conducting cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
· Responsible for maintaining valid Class D or Commercial Driver’s License.
· Loads, delivers, and unloads equipment and materials to and from job sites.
· Responsible for scheduling periodic vehicle performance maintenance and inspections.
· Responsible for obeying all traffic laws and following established DOT transportation procedures including, but not limited to Log Books and driving time limitations
· Verifies contents of deliveries and maintains proper and accurate paperwork associated with deliveries
· Performs in office Shipping & Receiving and Maintenance duties when no deliveries are scheduled.
· Required to travel out of state and work long hours, including weekend work in order to meet business needs.
Experience and Qualification:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Valid Class Drivers License or CDL
· Clean driving record in accordance with insurance requirements
· Experience driving under DOT regulation preferred.
· Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
· Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems
· Ability to operate RF scanners for inventory tracking purposes
· Proficient in order picking using reach trucks, pallet jacks, or order pickers
· Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities
· Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving and shipping processes
