- Preparation of proper paperwork to accompany finished goods – Print order received by Inside Sales, attach packing list, prepare/finalize bill of lading.
- Checking of pulled orders – ensure accuracy and labeling according to customer and DOT requirements.
- Contact trucking companies – to pick up prepared orders
- Reviews work instructions – associated with the above mentioned job title and regularly attends company-wide training on areas such as Corporate Ethics, Safety, Environmental, etc.
- GED or High School Diploma
- 1-3 years’ experience in customer services and/or Inside Sales, Supply Chain OR
- Any combination of equivalent education and experience in Customer Service/Supply Chain.
- Ability to work across departments, with customers, vendors, internally, in order to complete task in timely, efficient, cost effective manner for outbound deliveries.
- Ability to successfully pass Ishihara Test for Colour-Deficiency
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently and/or bilingual
- Experience with hazardous shipping
- Experience with international shipments
- SAP experience is a plus
- Excellent computer and data entry skills – MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; capable of relating to individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to maintain accurate, detailed files and records, and comply with appropriate record keeping requirements.
- Ability to organize and prioritize in an effective and timely manner, set priorities and meet critical time deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer information, company formulations, raw materials, vendors, etc. As well as all Company information and matters.
- Ability to interpret and adhere to all company policies, including Quality/EHS procedures and policies, and all applicable government regulations
