2nd Shift = 3pm-11pm
Shift Premium: $1.80/hour
Summary/Objective: The Shipping Clerk is primarily responsible for keeping track of inventory records. Shipping Clerks are expected to know traffic loading and the material handler and stock keeper process.

- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against orders or other records
- Creates pick list and schedules shipping
- Determines method of shipment
- Processes Bills of Lading
- Runs daily production reports and distributes
- Enters scrap and run reports
- Notifies scrap hauler on material that needs to be picked up
- Examines FISH Forms are completed
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies

Requirements:
- Experience with office computer software required, including demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite software packages such as: Outlook, Word, and Excel

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
Required Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Required Experience:
Prefer (but not required) six months related job experience
