Senior Shipping Associate

Job Description

BroadPharm is a fast-growing biotech company in San Diego, specializing in manufacturing and supplying high purity PEG linkers, bioconjugation reagents, nanoparticle lipid components, and customer services worldwide. We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and motivated Senior Shipping Associate to join our Shipping department. The ideal candidate would have the qualifications and skills to perform a variety of different duties within the shipping department, and communicate cross departments.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to assist:
• - Submit invoices to the clients
• - Take orders and receive deliveries
• - Weigh chemical compounds (non-hazardous)
• - Create invoices
• - Create shipping label
• - Prepare the shipping documents and packing the orders
• Stay on top of orders and ensure that they are fulfilled on time.
• Ensure that the invoices and tracking information of all the orders are sent out properly.
• Ensure that all the orders are packed safely and properly.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent preferred, detail-oriented and multitasking.
• Previous shipping experience is needed.
• Willingness and understanding you will work with chemicals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Integrity and leadership skills
• Excellent organization and administrative skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint;
• Familiar with QuickBooks is plus
• Only local candidates will be considered

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
