About This Role:
World Distribution Services, a World Group company, is currently looking for an energetic & detail-oriented person to join our family as a Shipping & Receiving Logistics Coordinator for our Savannah, Georgia location!
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the shipping & receiving office, including daily interactions with truck drivers and ensuring all inbound and outbound paperwork is processed correctly. Does this sound like you or fit your experience? Get in touch with us by applying here.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining YMS - data entry
- Customer communication via email, phone, and video chat software
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, receive and process orders, create and distribute documentation
- Import/export paperwork compliance
- Inbound/outbound load closings
- BOL creation
- Order Entry and Inventory tracking using WMS
- Back up of team members as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience in Customer Service with a customer first attitude
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer proficiency Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong team player
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within a 3PL warehouse environment
- Experience working with a WMS such as Synapse
- Experience with Shipping and Receiving
- Hazmat Certified or ability to become Hazmat Certified

- Ability to occasionally reach overhead to secure office equipment & supplies
