Job Overview: We are seeking a full-time seasonal Shipping/Receiving Clerk with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This position primarily involves supporting warehouse inventory management and shipping operations during the blueberry season.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate incoming blueberry receiving activities
- Receive and inspect raw materials and packaging materials for the packing facility
- Verify sales order paperwork to ensure accurate loading of shipments
- Inspect shipping carriers for cleanliness and/or damage prior to loading
- Physically monitor the receiving/loading process
- Keep inventory up to date, reconcile shipments with current inventory, stage shipments to be loaded, and assist with shipment loading
Requirements:
- Flexible hours availability
- Proficiency in computer use
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Forklift experience
- Attention to detail in a high-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a packinghouse
