Shipping and Receiving Clerk

We are currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team, hours are Tuesday - Friday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Job Description:

• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
• Accurate counts of products before loading and unloading.
• Perform incoming inspection on customer product and material. Document damage or inconsistencies and notify correct department.
• Pictures of shipments and incoming material when required
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Receive materials and supplies in ERP system.
• Create shipping paper work such as packing slips, BOL's. Communicate with customers and freight companies on shipments.
• Clean facilities or work areas.
• Load shipments or materials.
• Maintain material moving equipment in good working condition.
• Mark materials or products for identification.
• Move materials, equipment, or supplies.
• Operate a forklift
• Operate packing or other material processing equipment.
• Package materials or products.
• Work closely with production and schedules to ensure on time deliveries to the customer
• Follow all company Safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment.

Physical Requirements:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The temperature conditions vary from 60-100 degrees Fahrenheit. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
