SalaryShippers/Packers responsible for ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately, packed, and shipped correctly to a high standard.
Hit shipping/packing targets.
Manage the shipments and receipt of all products.
Track, trace and update status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Obtain freight quotes prior to shipments.
Picking, packing, and loading correct goods as per customer orders using specific product numbers, codes.
Use packaging materials such as cardboard boxes, wooden pallets, bubble wrap, shrink wrap, plastic, and metal straps correctly.
Use warehouse machinery to move goods from storage to packing areas.
Promptly load packaged goods into containers, truck trailers for shipping by using machinery and forklifts.
Promptly unload/load materials from trucks, crates, and pallets by using machinery, forklifts, sort, distribute or store received material.
Maintain an accurate log sheet for outgoing and incoming shipments.
Complete paperwork, scan and store paperwork or enter data into software to allow for orders tracking.
Scan, count inventory items.
Engage vendors and drivers with cheerful outlook while providing additional back up support for the Shipping and the receiving department.
Ensure that the storage and work areas are clean and in a workable safe condition.
Following company safety policies, regulation, and procedures in the warehouse
Qualifications
Exceptional knowledge of warehousing procedures, shipping along with practical packing skills.
Suitable warehouse qualifications, including the ability to safely operate industrial equipment, forklift, * certification required *
Powerful sense of time organization and urgency
Able to work independently and within a team.
All other duties and assignment requested by the supervisor.
Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
