SalaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Receiving Associate to join our team. As a Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming merchandise. This is a crucial role in our distribution center, ensuring that all products are received and processed in a timely manner.
Duties:
- Count inventory and input into system
- Inspect incoming merchandise for damages or discrepancies
- Verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders or invoices
- Sort and organize received products in designated storage areas
- Maintain inventory accuracy by updating stock records and performing regular cycle counts
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely processing of merchandise
- Assist with order picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with e-commerce operations is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately inspect incoming merchandise
- Basic computer skills for inventory management tasks
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly storage area
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move heavy items as needed
