POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Lead Warehouse Associate reports to the Warehouse Manager.
- Located in Lewisville

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with inventory control procedures.
- Perform cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and maintain inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Order Fulfillment:
- Coordinate order picking, packing, and shipping activities, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
- Monitor order status, prioritize orders based on urgency, and communicate with internal teams to meet customer deadlines.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe work environment for all warehouse personnel.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies related to warehouse operations.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities as needed to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including receipts, shipments, and inventory movements.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve goals and objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control principles, and safety regulations.
- High School diploma or GED, or equivalent military or practical experience.
- 3 – 4 years of experience in warehouse operations, with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Experience with forklift operation and other warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Bend or twist body.
- Use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools. or controls.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Keep or regain their balance.
- Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.
