Youngstown Auto Wrecking, a division of NIKI D’ATRI ENTERPRISES INC., is currently looking to fill the Shipping and Receiving role.

Job Summary:

Essential Job Duties:

• Greet customers upon entering and leaving the yard each day.
• Operate Tow Motor.
• Prepare orders for shipment (i.e., parts/engines).
• Tag or label all parts correctly and check for quality.
• Assist customers in loading their vehicles.
• Load/Unload freight trucks.
• Verify that core tags are on engines and transmissions.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Test/start cars and remove batteries.
• Observe all safety and security procedures and report any unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Must have basic reading and math skills.
• Previous salvage yard experience.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Operate a steel bander to package shipments.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull 75 lbs. without assistance.
• Able to stand, walk, climb, stoop, bend, twist, and reach above the shoulders.
• Ability to perform in high-traffic/volume situations.
• Ability to work independently and maintain reliable attendance, work performance, and safety standards.
• Ability to function in a team environment, prioritizing organizational and team goals.
• Ability to go outside in all weather conditions for a limited time to verify parts.
• Must come to work prepared to begin at full capacity every morning.
• Must adapt to substantial work pressure during peak times.
• Able to pass a drug screen as a condition of employment
