Shipping Administrator

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. The role of the Shipping Administrator includes, but is not limited to, assisting with bills of lading, calling customers to arrange delivery appointments, and dispatching loads to carriers. Assists in processing all inbound material and place into inventory. The Shipping Administrator must possess consistency, dependability, and a customer service attitude in order to be successful in this role. Proven ability to work well within a Team setting as well as independently will be necessary. Must be able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment with minimum supervision. Excellent phone etiquette and experience dealing with carriers and customers. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

• HS Diploma or equivalent  
• Basic Microsoft office experience

• Experience in D365
• Two years previous shipping and or receiving experience.
• Previous clerical experience and general office skills
