Our client is a well-established, privately owned manufacturer of high end creatively designed furniture made using state of the art manufacturing equipment and techniques. The Shift Team Leader position is a new position, playing a key role in the formation of a second shift operation to respond to increasing sales and increasing number of customers.
This is a second shift position, working Monday Friday from 3 to 11:30 pm with occasional overtime.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform machine set-ups to include tooling and machine adjustments on various 3 and 5 axis CNC machines and other production equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve common machine errors.
Monitor production operations to include performing quality control checks.
Provide mentoring, coaching, training and personal development to team members.
Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
Monitor and enforce compliance to health and safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 years team leading experience, managing and delegating responsibilities to team members.
Thrive in and contribute to a collaborative team-oriented culture.
Great communicator, highly organized and computer savvy.
Open to working occasional overtime.
Ability of identify problems, resolve, and communicate problems in a constructive and positive manner.
