Shelter Property Manager - Overnight

CHANCE Recovery (Community Helping Addicts Negotiate Change Effectively) is a non-profit organization that helps adults recovery from substance abuse and assists with homelessness. It is awesome!

A new position is being created at CHANCE as we expand our shelter program. We are looking for a Shelter Property Manager who can supervise overnight operations and the safety at our shelter. This person is responsible for operations in the evenings and ensures that those using our shelter get checked in appropriately, resolves any conflicts that arise, and responds to any emergencies that occur while working with the Shelter Director.

The position is full-time working overnight shifts. The wage is $24.00 per hour. Benefits offered include health, vision, and dental insurance, a retirement account with matching funds, paid time off, and more.

You need to have some experience working with individuals experiencing houselessness and those struggling with addiction. You should have training and experience with managing crisis situation and de-escalation techniques. You will be required to enter information into various database and software programs, so you must be comfortable working on computers, using email and writing documents. You will need to pass a drug screen on hire and a background check.
