SalaryRarebird Property Management is looking for a full time Assistant Property Manager, focusing on properties primarily in NE and SE Portland. On-the-job training will be provided allowing for progress-based growth within the company. This position is intended to grow into a Property Manager role.
Flexible schedule and mainly work from home (after initial training period), but occasional weekends and evenings may be required. This position is primarily paperwork and detail oriented, with some property site visits required as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Assist Property Manager in overseeing all aspects of property management operations
- Maintain knowledge of available rental units
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Act & applicable tenant landlord law
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance repairs
- Marketing & showing vacant rental units as needed
- Unit turns, unit & property inspections
- Coordinate with leasing staff for showings
- Screen prospective tenants
- Prepare lease documents and tenant notices
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
- Provide exceptional customer service
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
