Job Details:
- As an OFP Manufacturing Engineer for John Deere Davenport Works, you will provide Assembly ME support and troubleshooting for current operations in the Articulated Dump Truck business unit.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects impacting safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and ergonomic improvements for department.
- Establish routings, SOE (sequence of events), layouts, tooling, assembly costs, OMS, and control plans for revisions to current operations.
- Work with SAP, MPPlanner, and JDAAT to perform engineering functions.
- Provide production support on product line resolving engineering obstacles.
Can drive Deere gator; training will be provided.
Role is for a first shift position however there may be need for individual to flex to off shift role temporarily to support production needs.
