Position Overview: The Automotive Service Advisor plays a pivotal role in the customer experience and operational efficiency of Big Apple Automotive. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through the service process, assessing their vehicle's needs, providing accurate estimates, and ensuring their satisfaction. This role requires exceptional communication skills, automotive knowledge, and a dedication to delivering top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and ensure a positive service experience from start to finish.
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and diagnostics to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, including costs, timelines, and benefits.
• Prepare accurate and transparent service estimates for customers, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Schedule and coordinate service appointments to efficiently manage workflow.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely and high-quality repairs.
• Keep customers informed of repair progress and promptly communicate any changes or additional work required.
• Process customer payments and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of service history, recommendations, and customer interactions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive technology or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or a similar customer-facing role in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and repair processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in using the latest automotive service software and diagnostic tools.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
