Service Writer

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs. Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Provide recommendations for necessary repairs or maintenance based on customer concerns and vehicle inspections
- Prepare accurate estimates for repairs and communicate them to customers
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Maintain open communication with customers throughout the repair process
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Keep track of service records and maintain organized files

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Service Writer or in customer service within the automotive industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with tire services, oil changes, and other routine vehicle maintenance tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers
- Cash handling experience is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial

Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
