SUMMARY:
Responsible for completing the duties required to maintain the physical integrity and safety of each assigned restaurant through the implementation of preventative maintenance and responding to the maintenance needs of the individual restaurants in a timely manner.
***Must use own Vehicle, Mileage is paid***
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prioritize and complete needed repairs as they occur, in a timely fashion.
Work within the R&M budget to implement preventive maintenance procedures as defined by the Restaurant General Managers and District Managers.
Maintain a safe work environment for employees and customers while performing required duties, such as Lock Out/Tag Out program.
Observance of all OSHA rules and regulations.
When applicable, maintaining the necessary licenses and permits required by the state to perform work within the restaurants.
Coordinate a work schedule to minimize the impact on customer service and restaurant operations.
Inventory control with respect to: Equipment (parts) supplies, Spare parts inventory, Storage facility assets listing (with District Manager), Ordering and Inventory reconciliation (audits) currently every 6 months.
Cost Analysis: Transfer of parts, labor to the DM and restaurant units
Maintain a “Who to call list” with District Manager for outsourcing repairs and maintenance where necessary
Review Restaurant Maintenance (R&M) Expense Summary: this report is a charge summary of activity in the R&M account. Review unit(s) costs to insure accuracy of charges posted.
Communicate high repair cost concerns on equipment verses replacement where the cost benefit analysis makes sense
Meet / Communicate weekly with District Manager(s) to review previous week and current issues with equipment or facility repair.
Submit weekly Time Reports, Job tickets
Submit Expense report weekly for approval Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
General electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC knowledge necessary.
General mechanical knowledge required.
Food Service Equipment Repair experience is a plus.
Valid Driver’s License required.
