POSITION SUMMARY:

The Special Service Technician(3rd party tech) reports to the operations management team. While promoting and upholding the company culture, the focus is to complete service needs outside of a moving crew’s ability while maintaining a professional rapport with our customer. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect measurements and prebuild crates, documenting before and after a piece is set.
  • Disconnect then reconnect W/D & Water lines, testing for leaks before completion of the job.
  • Disassemble and then reassemble equipment that includes, but is not limited to, gym equipment, exercise equipment, game tables, and specialty items.
  • Troubleshoot missing hardware, repair any damage, and take before and after photos. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • High school education or equivalent experience.
  • Class R drivers license. 
  • Daily attendance within set hours and some weekend work required.
  • Strong construction and assembly experience.
  • Knowledge and use of construction related tools such as nail guns and air compressors.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 
  • Must possess a positive attitude for interacting with customers, staff, and management.
  • Punctual, results-oriented and focused on problem-solving.

  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.  
  • This position requires excellent physical stamina and the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds.
  • Sustained periods of lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.
