Specializing in high-tech systems, cloud-based software services and audio/video solutions for thousands of businesses, schools and properties in the greater New York Metropolitan area, POM’s diverse client roster comprises a wide range of prestigious and well-known organizations. Founded in 2002, POM has handled more than 2,000 site installations, primarily focused on large offices, retail, hospitality, health care, education, and real estate (commercial, luxury residential and hi-rise).
Roles & Responsibilities
- Process new service orders:
- Insure all required documents have been received
- Set-up new service order in project management software
- Review project specific insurance requirements and order certificates of insurance
- Assist Service Manager with all day to day aspects of running the service department.
- Scope of work review
- Creation of Work Request estimates and proposals
- Coordinate project equipment staging
- Compile and organize all service visit close-out documentation including:
- Photos
- Operation and maintenance manuals
- Customer sign-offs
- Project specific technical information
- Project completion packages
- Ensure project meetings, minutes and logistics are organized in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist Service Manager with client updates, communication and correspondence.
- Liaison with clients, vendors, sub-contractors and other staff; ensuring exceptional customer service and quality at all times.
- Coordinate project communication events
- Organize and maintain daily field personnel calendars
- Daily Service call scheduling
- Provide general administrative support as required
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point & Excel
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Management of an operational calendar and follow up items
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize
- Interested in learning and growing
