Service Coordinator

SUMMARY: Support Field Service Manager to attain target Order Intake and Sales goals. Assist in Field Operations in such a manner so as to minimize warranty expense, maximize revenue, customer satisfaction and utilization of Field Service Technicians.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Schedule available resources to ensure an efficient and profitable utilization of field service team for machine installations, general repair and maintenance and /or warranty service calls.
• Prepare estimates for service work and training to customers.
• Coordinate the activities of field service technicians that are involved with projects and provide work direction, as needed.
• Provide process improvements to the department.
• Ensure that field service team has necessary documentation and occasionally any specialty tools needed for modification, machine installation and customer service appointments.
• Assist field service manager in reviewing and maintaining team activities to achieve the annual team budget.
• Support other field service staff and accounting staff with project information related to invoicing
• Review field service reports and take any necessary actions for customer follow up.
• Represent department, as required by field service manager, in cross-functional teams or projects to continue a positive working relationship with service organization and machine factories.
• Manage and maintain organization of field service data on the network.
• Maintain log of active estimates and follow up with customers on offers.
• Maintain operational reference documents (work visa status, tool calibration logs, technician skill matrix, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned by field service manager.
• Travel domestically approximately 5%.

**There are no direct reports to this position, however, this position does provide work direction to the field service engineers regarding department scheduling needs and customer expectations.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a minimum of 2+ years of experience working in a Field Service, Project Coordinator or Schedule Planning capacity
• Must have at least 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office; Excel, Outlook and Word, in a business environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s degree is desirable.
• Outstanding planning and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all phases of work performed is critical.
• Extremely professional telephone etiquette and excellent customer services skills.
• Ability to maintain a personable presence even in demanding situations
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to perform multiple tasks with accuracy and professionalism.
• Demonstrated ability to independently resolve planning issues.
• Utilize innovation and creativity to generate forward-looking ideas
• SAP navigation skills.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $55,000 – $70,000 based on a full-time schedule.

Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
