AddressClean Air - Service Business Manager (Support)
Summary
The Service Business Manager is responsible for supporting both the operational and commercial business units for Tenneco North America. The individual must adapt to individual customer needs and requirements, while ensuring Tenneco’s objectives are accomplished. Analyzing / defining the successful transition of product from OE to OES in adherence to company guidelines and meeting customer requirements will be a focus. Daily support will be expected by working independently and via cross functional teams to achieve the highest level of business support possible. The position will have broad exposure to the business unit activities and will have direct interface with both external customers and internal Tenneco groups.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Service Delivery KPIs, including Scorecard Management and Weekly Plant Reviews
- Direct Customer interface including but not limited to Last-Time buys, Packaging discrepancies, MOQs adjustments, past due delivery support
- Support Service part change management (engineering changes, supplier changes, build location changes, pricing changes)
- Support Tooling Disposition Process
- Assist business units with special projects and analysis as assigned
- Collaborate with direct Mgr. to execute assigned tasks and projects efficiently
- Other Duties as assigned in support of the Service Business Group
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive Operations or Supply Chain, program management, and/or sales
Working knowledge/experience with SAP and Excel
Competencies
- Required to work independently, under pressure, with the ability to drive projects to closure
- Ability to accurately analyze and interpret documents with emphasis on business impact to legal, logistics and financial detail
- Strong communication skills, customer service and sharing with others
- Ability to prioritize work in a high-volume environment and execute acceptable results
- Comfortable with multiple systems and abstract data structures including electronic automation tools
- Advanced MS Excel Skills
