Our team serves the southeast Michigan area with partners in audit, tax, and management advisory services. We are equipped to serve individuals and organizations ranging from single-ownership businesses to performing certified audits for multi-division organizations. We have particular strengths working with clients in manufacturing, retail, cannabis accounting and Tax Services, professional service industries, and non-profit organizations.

Senior Manager/Business Tax ServicesKey Responsibilities:

• Recognize complex technical issues, evaluate facts efficiently, and use strategic decision-making skills to improve processes by developing and implementing best practices.
• A diversified range of accounting and Tax Services in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance, technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards and provides timely feedback.
• Invest in professional development through active participation in training sessions and networking events both internally and externally.

Senior Manager/Business Tax ServicesQualifications:

• CPA firm experience
• MUST be up to date on all current tax laws
• Corporate tax law is a HUGE plus
• Experience and working knowledge of trust and estate taxes

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• CPA license NOT required
