We are looking for an EXPERIENCED SERVICE ADVISOR for our fast-growing auto repair facility here in Beavercreek, OH.
This is a full-time position for a strong candidate who has at least 5 years of experience working for a professional auto repair business as a Service Advisor or manager. We offer highly competitive compensation ($55K - $80K/yr.) to match your skills that includes a strong base salary plus a generous performance-based bonus (WRITE YOUR OWN PAYCHECK!).

Our Service Advisor is the interface between the customer and the technician and is responsible for pulling everyone together as a team.
Service advisors are powerful salespeople at the front counter! Not only do they sell service (parts + labor) profitably, but they own the customer experience.
WHAT YOUR TYPICAL DAY WILL LOOK LIKE:
- Provide high quality customer service and satisfaction at or above company standards.
- Maintain good working relations with suppliers.
- Greet customers at the vehicle and in the lobby.
- Follow the “Bridging to Maintenance Process” and other internal processes.
- Test drive customer cars with vehicle owner to confirm a symptom.
- Perform the vehicle intake process.
- Review customer history and recommend maintenance services.
- Audit vehicle inspections and generate appropriate estimates.
- Order parts via POS and dispatch work to techs to fulfill commitment to customers.
- Present inspections, consult and advise customers of repair and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain sale conversion ratio and ARO as determined by management.
- Handle customers at vehicle pick up; review work performed; exit schedule, prompt customer reviews.
- Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments.
- Perform daily customer retention phone calls.
- Perform final test drive on vehicles to maintain Q/C
- Assist in the management of the service department to achieve overall business performance objectives, including sales, productivity, and profitability goals.
- Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
SKILLS & QUALITIES THAT WILL HELP YOU SHINE IN THIS ROLE:
- Previous experience with Shop Management software preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic; proactive; solution focused.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
- Good physical condition: job requires possible lifting up to 70 lbs., manual dexterity required.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and a safe and professional presentation and workspace, such as arriving neat, clean, dressed in a clean uniform; always wear safety glasses, protective shoes, and ear protection in the shop; be clean when driving the vehicle; use floor mats and seat covers.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license.
- High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred.
Compensation:
