Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and timely manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure tables are clean and properly set for new guests
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register or POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
