3rd Shift Cook/Server responsibilities include:
- Prepare ingredients needed for cooking, including washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring.
- Preparing and serving food items according to established recipes and presentation standards; This may involve grilling, sautéing, frying, baking, or other cooking methods.
- Taking customer orders and accurately preparing on the grill.
- Serving and plating menu items requested by customers.
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain high standards of food quality by inspecting ingredients for freshness and proper storage, monitoring cooking temperatures, and ensuring that finished dishes meet Five Star's quality standards.
- Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels of food supplies, informing supervisors when stock is running low or ingredients are needed.
- Assist with incoming deliveries and help to put items away.
- Adhere to proper food safety and sanitation procedures, including cleaning and sanitizing workstations, equipment, and utensils.
