Server/Cashier

### Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Server/Cashier to join our team. As a Server/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. ### Responsibilities:

- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items
- Process payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Assist with food preparation and handling when needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

### Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Strong upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for accurately processing payments and making change
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures in the culinary industry
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide assistance as needed
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment transactions
- Understanding of retail math for calculating discounts or promotions
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitate work areas according to health standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude

Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
