Sake-Tumi is a small, locally owned Sushi Bar and Asian Fusion Restaurant in Binghamton, NY. We serve a variety of craft cocktails, fresh sushi, thai & japanese inspired fusion entrees and appetizers, bottled beers and a wide variety of warm and cold sake.

We are seeking an experienced Server/Bartender to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. ```Responsibilities```
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide recommendations on food and drink selections based on customer preferences
- Ensure accurate cash handling and process payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and bar area
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Upsell additional menu items and promote specials to increase sales

- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling techniques to maintain safety standards

- Food safety: Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices

- SpotOn POS: Experience using SpotOn POS system
- Basic math: Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations for accurate order processing
- Food service: Familiarity with restaurant operations and customer service etiquette
- Catering: Knowledge of catering procedures for special events or large groups

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
