Server/Bartender

Burgerology is a USDA Prime burger restaurant and bar that has opened 10 locations in 6 years. We plan on opening 100 more. We just became the official burger of UBS Arena and the Ny Islanders. We are looking to hire experienced servers and Bartenders for our Patchogue location.

Part-time and full-time positions available.

Server Essential Functions:

• Deliver food to tables and present each dish to the guest
• Help create an experience
• Offer great hospitality
• Set up and breakdown tables
• Ensure order of restaurant and cleanliness in accordance to health and safety regulations
• Keep the area clean and well prepped according to health regulations.
• Present a clean and professional appearance at all times.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to guest inquiries with accurate information and a positive attitude.
• Check all orders to insure accuracy and quality

Bartenders Essential Functions:

• Verify identification and age requirements of customers
• Mix traditional and creative cocktails
• Process payment from customers
• Clean glasses and bar utensils
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
• Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
• Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
• Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere

Requirements

• Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 25 pounds
• Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
• Other restaurant tasks as required by management
• Must have a great attention to detail
• Impeccable customer service skills and social perceptiveness
• Oriented toward serving others and helping customers
