We are seeking a Server Assistant to join our team at our Restaurant- Tanglewood: A Southern Kitchen. As a Server Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our servers and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist servers with setting up tables and preparing the dining area
- Refill water glasses and provide bread and butter to guests
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
- Assist in delivering food and beverages to tables
- Collaborate with servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
Skills:
- Knowledge of culinary and food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food service standards and practices
- Understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent guest service skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with the kitchen and servers
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
```Requirements```
To be successful as a Server Assistant, you should have a positive attitude, be able to work well in a team, and have a strong work ethic.
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
