As a Specialist SEO Technical, you will be an integral part of our SEO team, working collaboratively to optimize and enhance the online visibility of Academy.com. Requirements:
Education: SEO training experience preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience.
Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of SEO-specific experience required.
Skills and Qualities:
- Curiosity and a thirst for learning.
- Fearless when it comes to asking questions.
- Solid understanding of search engine algorithms and their impact on SERPs.
- Proven experience in developing and executing creative campaigns for natural in-bound linking.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics and understanding of KPIs.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, and Ahrefs.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and efficient problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to stay updated with current SEO strategies, tactics, algorithm shifts, and trends.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with SEO counterparts and leaders to develop and execute strategies, tactics, and campaigns to generate in-bound links to Academy.com.
- Conduct keyword/topic research utilizing tools like SEMRush to optimize various types of content.
- Use reporting and analysis tools to track and communicate the business impact of SEO initiatives.
- Conduct site-wide and page-level audits using tools like Screaming Frog to identify and resolve issues for maximum search engine visibility.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements related to site structure, URL structure, page constructions, content, and keyword lists.
- Provide SEO recommendations for site redesigns, product enhancements, and new site features.
- Optimize websites for various search engines, real-time search, mobile search, video search, and image search.
- Collaborate with external partners to drive in-bound links to Academy.com.
- Develop syndicated content for third-party websites and publish infographics on internal and external platforms.
- Perform detailed competitive analysis and present findings in compelling ways.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, external departments, and vendors to execute projects effectively and efficiently.
- Stay updated with company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
