Our client is a 2000+ person software and services business selling solutions to some 900+ Telecommunications Service Providers globally. It is PE backed and looking to expand both organically and through acquisition.
Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the SVP – Risk Advisory Services (“RAS”) will be responsible for building and running a newly formed business unit within our client which will focus on providing risk and business assurance services to it's clients. For example, Governance & Compliance, Security Management, Margin Assurance (revenue assurance / cost assurances), Fraud Management, Business Management (OSS / BSS - Customer Experience / Digital Transformation, Business Operations, Incentives, Collections) and Business Optimization (through advanced analytics based on ML/AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the newly formed Risk Advisory Services business unit.
Build and lead a team of highly skilled professionals to deliver exceptional results.
Quickly gain a deep understanding of our client's comprehensive suite of offerings and use that knowledge to build strong relationships with new and existing customers by leveraging exceptional relationship-building skills.
Serve as a trusted advisor to our client's end clients, helping them navigate complex business and technical challenges and delivering innovative solutions that drive business outcomes.
Drive revenue growth by working hand in hand with Sales to identify priority areas for growth and spearhead the development of new business opportunities; nurture relationships and drive sales pipeline development and play an instrumental role in closing new deals.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices (including 5G migration, digital home, AI, and CX transformation) and incorporate these into RAS’s customer engagements.
Collaborate with other senior leaders to ensure the RAS is aligned with our client's overall strategy and goals.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
Possess a track record of success in building and scaling a business unit within a complex organization, preferably in the telecommunications or telecommunications services industries.
Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team of highly skilled professionals and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and drive results.
Strong knowledge of the telecom industry, including a deep understanding of the telecom landscape, trends, and key players.
Possess deep data analytics knowledge, ideally across the following domains: roaming and network services, security and fraud management, revenue/margin assurance, and customer experience.
Have a track record of driving business growth by developing strong C-Suite relationships with key economic buyers of large global telecommunications companies, negotiating complex deals, and driving long-term customer loyalty.
Have a deep understanding of the telecom industry's technology and market trends and the ability to develop and execute innovative and differentiated strategies that drive growth and capture new business opportunities.
Have a strong network of industry contacts.
Be willing to travel as needed to meet with clients and team members around the world and attend industry events.
