Who You Are

This position requires a steady, accurate, analytical worker who can complete a project on time, every time. The right candidate will want to achieve goals while also being accountable and thrive in a professional work environment. They will be willing to cooperate with everyone, while also being supportive and helpful of the Haynie team.

Required Experience and Skills

· Must have 4+ years of recent public accounting experience. Experience preparing partnership, corporate, individual, not for profit and trusts.

· Assist with tax planning and prepare tax projections. Tax research and decision making.

· Prepare responses to IRS and state tax notices.

· Bachelor's Required/ Masters preferred

· CPA or CPA eligible preferred

· Ability to help with review of tax returns and also have the ability to prepare more complex tax returns

· Assume responsibility for the completion of tax returns under the supervision of more experienced staff

· Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal skills

· Experience with CCH, Lacerte, QuickBooks, Canopy and Engagement preferred

· Outstanding written and communication skills

· Accountable result oriented individual who takes ownership of their work and deadlines

· Comprehensive understanding of tax law

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
