Kyo is a leading provider of therapy for individuals with autism. Our core service is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, a clinically proven form of therapy for autism. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Systems Administrator at Kyo is a role designed for those who thrive on innovation, and challenge. Kyo's infrastructure consists of a proprietary application core surrounded by off-the-shelf SaaS tools. Kyo's proprietary applications include our Care app, used by our clients and frontline staff, and our operational data warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to):

• Enhance and safeguard Kyo's proprietary application set, with a focus on data integrity, cost containment, system performance, scaling and security.
• Develop and maintain middleware that interconnects Kyo's proprietary and SaaS applications.
• Participate in the execution of Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives and operationalization of data.
• Oversee Kyo's SaaS applications (e.g. Google Workspace, Jira, Genesys, Tableau) with responsibility for their administration, support, enhancement, performance monitoring, security, and optimization for organizational needs.
• Lead process improvement initiatives with internal departments, offering industry best practices and creating solutions when faced with vague or insufficient requirements.
• Assure the compliance of applications with HIPAA and PCI standards, aligning them with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of an internal knowledge base, comprising technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies to ensure institutional knowledge retention and continuity.
• Manage personal and project tasks in an agile environment.
• Drive the ongoing learning and development of staff in new technologies, fostering a culture of continual up-skilling and technological fluency.
• Act as a senior point of contact for the resolution of complex support requests, while promoting a customer-focused approach to IT service management.

• 8+ years in IT operations in an enterprise or a fast growing organization in roles with responsibilities in automating workflows, enhancing reporting dashboards, and administering a SaaS environment.
• 3+ years Experience managing identity/access (with SSO/SAML/Kerberos), administering diverse hardware (using SCCM/Jamf), and managing IaaS environments.
• Skilled in programming APIs, JSON, Python, and SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB databases.
• Experience using low code/no code platforms for internal solutions and maintaining automated workflows.
• Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft365, and workflow tools such as Jira Service Desk.
• Understands project lifecycle, from design to QA/testing, able to take full ownership of a role and self-educate.
• Experienced in network architecture and management, able to translate requests into customized workflows and reports.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaborates effectively, builds trust, and can work independently as a SME.
• Experience with MDM solutions, problem-solving, and assimilating new technologies, demonstrating commitment to continuous learning.
• Must be located in one of the following states: CA, WA, OR, AZ, CO, UT, TX, GA, FL

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
• Master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field preferred.

• Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.
• Exhibit manual dexterity to regularly use and enter data into a computer/tablet/phone.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as employee handbooks, training materials and procedure manuals.
• No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
• No or very limited physical effort required.
• Ability to perform data entry, operate standard office equipment e.g. copiers, fax.
