We are seeking a skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for working complex issues/projects from networking (switching, firewalls), server administration (virtualization, Windows SVR), backup and disaster recovery solutions, and cloud solutions (Azure, SharePoint, etc).
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support server architecture including Windows Server, SQL, VMWare, etc.
- Experience with configuring business-class firewalls and VPNs.
- Knowledge and experience with setting up and maintaining Windows Domains, GPOs, and Active Directory
- Work with clients, vendors, and 3rd party consultants to implement technical solutions projects for infrastructure and desktops.
- Ability to work independently and with a team of technicians.
- Design, Implement, and Support disaster recovery solutions.
- Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
- System documentation maintenance and recommendations.
- Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, and agreed outages.
Qualifications:
- Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP
- Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems.
- Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.
- Diagnosis skills of technical issues
