Responsibilities- Keep up with day-to-day sustainment activities, (Quarterly Full Stack Downloadable Patch (QFSDP)
- System Maintenance/Tier 4 Escort to replace defective hardware
- Configuration changes/Change Requests
- Developmental calls from associated projects, and infrastructure increases/migration tasks
- Work sustainment activities and take care of all the day to day Change request needs associated with each project
- QFSDP Quarterly process used to Deploy M8 SuperCluster patches through the servers in an through all environments
- Interact and support Infrastructure DBAs to assist in patching Databases on M8 SC
- Work with Principal SA to expand Exadata Disk Space
- Interact with Supplier to Identify critical needs and failures
- Support special projects and provide subject matter knowledge to customers at all levels
- Provide High Level technical and customer support in a RHEL Linux environment
- Lead for the service lines CyberArk effort a
- SME reviewing the Cyber Security (CRISP) related functions in a Linux and Unix OS //Local account spreadsheet
- Must be a technical experts in Red Hat Linux as well as Solaris OS environments
- Must have experience working on Linux, Solaris an Oracle SuperClusters servers/VMs
- QFSDPP Quarterly process used to Deploy M8 SuperCluster patches through the servers in an through all environments
- Experience on Oracle Exadata Storage Servers
- Experience on Oracle Infiniband Network and Switches
- Experience on Oracle ZFS Storage Appliances / Remote Replication
- proven experience engineering migrations from various platforms
- Working knowledge of various storage platforms and how they interact with Solaris devices
- Possess the technical skill to complete a task with little or no guidance with-in VA policies
- Must be able to perform the following Technical skill: formatting, adding new LUNs, creating Volume and Logical groups, installing AppDynamic and other performance monitoring tools
- Knowledge of Puppet Configuration Control software which is used to scale server configuration to increase productivity
- Experience with CyberArk Privileged Access Security (PAS)
- Experience installing, configuring and securing Red Hat 8 OS
- Technically strong in securing servers for access control and file permissions while providing customers with the capability to function with-in their role
- Skilled writing and executing shell scripting and automation techniques
- Must have working knowledge assigning storage to Linux Servers, assigning logical volume and File systems
- Must have working knowledge creating Automates administrative tasks with Ansible Playbook, GetHUB, and using Ansible Tower along with automating other ad hoc commands
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related scientific /technical discipline and 5+ years' work experience
- Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (13 years total)
