The Opportunity
The Senior Strategy & Operations Manager will partner with the VP, Employee Experience and their leadership team to develop, manage, and scale key initiatives, processes, and operations across the Global Business Partnering & Talent team. The ideal candidate possesses strong business intuition, exceptional operational and program management skills, and motivational change leadership. What you’ll do
- Evolve strategic operations for the global organization, including establishing best practices, optimizing processes, and driving team synchronicity, engagement and effectiveness
- Be a trusted advisor and collaborator to the VP, Employee Experience and leadership team on strategic business decisions and challenges, and influence the broader Employee Experience organization on their behalf
- Identify areas of improvement across the broader team, providing actionable insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence on cross-functional initiatives, including alignment of resources to the stated vision and strategy, and ensuring clear and consistent roll-outs of programs and processes
- Drive the operating cadence for the organization, including the weekly leadership team meetings, monthly All-Hands, annual and multi-year/strategic-planning, and business performance review to evaluate progress towards goals
- Manage operations for the VP, Employee Experience, including facilitating prioritization, tracking key metrics, and meeting preparation internally and externally.
What you need to succeed
- 5 - 7+ years of shown experience in strategic operational roles, partnering directly with senior leaders
- Ability to use critical thinking skills to breakdown sizable problems into meaningful pieces, and leverage data to derive insights
- Strong business acumen and curiosity about the business
- Outstanding ability to program manage complex operations, and proactively design, implement, and lead change initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and partnerships at all levels of the organization, identify and align diverse perspectives, and advise and influence senior partners
- Superb judgment and integrity, including excellent decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, written, and verbal skills, and solid attention to detail
- Comfort with ambiguity, a can-do attitude, and the ability to learn, grow, and take on expanded duties as business needs evolve
- BA or BS degree in a related field; MBA, Management Consulting is a plus
- Previous HR experience is preferred
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
